The Solution & Approach

Profound is the most complete platform in the AEO category. It built the measurement layer first (Prompt Volumes, Agent Analytics, and the public Profound Index), then turned that data into action with Workflows and an Agents platform. The direction is an always-on system that finds citation opportunities and acts on them, not just a dashboard that reports them.

Profound also did the most to define the category's vocabulary. It built a movement around the "Marketing Engineer" role, launched April 2026 to 1,500+ reactions, and stood up Profound University to train it. That POV is doing as much work as the product.
